Experience across changing market structures

1993 | Entering the investment industry

I began working in investments at a time when brokerage, research, trading, portfolio construction, and client access were all being reshaped by technology and changing market structure.

1990s and early 2000s | Brokerage and platform experience

Early career experience included A.G. Edwards and Charles Schwab, exposing me to both traditional brokerage and a technology-driven custody and investment platform.

2000s | Investment and wealth-management work

My work broadened across portfolio decisions, investment products, client strategy, and the operational side of delivering investment advice through multiple market cycles.

2014 | Founding Global Advisers

I founded Global Advisers, LLC as an independent registered investment advisory firm, bringing portfolio management, planning, research, and client service into one operating structure.

Today | Portfolio management, research, and firm development

Current responsibilities combine investment decision-making with research, technology development, organizational leadership, and the continuing expansion of the firm’s capabilities.

What experience is for

Pattern recognition without complacency

Experience is useful when it helps distinguish a familiar pattern from a genuinely new situation. It becomes dangerous when tenure is treated as proof. Every cycle has precedents, but every cycle also has differences that matter.
