Purpose
Galleon Wealth Management is a brand I have been developing around the needs and decisions associated with substantial private wealth. The concept reflects an interest in how investment decisions connect with family priorities, business ownership, philanthropy, succession, and the long-term use of capital.
These questions often involve more than a portfolio. They require attention to objectives that differ across people and time periods, as well as the coordination of professional responsibilities. A clear statement of purpose can be as important as the selection of a particular financial tool.
The work
Development centers on the positioning of the brand, the structure of information, and the way complex wealth-related questions can be communicated. It includes considering how an individual or family moves from broad priorities to a set of decisions that can be discussed with the appropriate advisers.
The brand is not a claim that a separate regulated advisory firm has been established or that a particular service is available through a new entity.
My role and the brand’s status
I am developing Galleon as part of my work in financial services. It is presented here as a developing brand. Current investment-advisory services and disclosures remain available through Global Advisers.
Connection to my writing
Galleon connects with questions about stewardship, time horizons, institutions, family continuity, and the purposes capital can serve. It also offers a setting for examining the difference between accumulating resources and deciding how to use them. Those are subjects for thoughtful inquiry, with conclusions that depend on the circumstances of the people involved.
